I knew she wasn't ok...

After Heather starts to tutor Matthew, he notices she has this bad cough,and every time he sees her, he asks if she's ok, but of course she says she's fine.

When he spots her having a coughing fit while he's at practice, he nearly gives himself away to catch her before she collapses. He brings her to the nurses office and the nurse explains that it's the flu and that he can go back to practice, but something is compelling him to stay and make sure she's actually "ok."

So incredibly corny, I know, but something needs to knock this hero child on to the hero track, and doesn't it all start with saving the girl?
